Ekballo Offering for the Nashes
On September 6th, we are taking a special, one-time offering to cover outgoing expenses for Joel, Mandi, Taylor, Noah, and Alethea Nash who will be sent as missionaries to unreached people groups in South Asia later in September. We are praying that the Lord would move us as a congregation to raise a few thousand dollars to help defray these costs. Please pray about how the Lord might be working in you to send the Nashes to the Nations, attend our worship service on September 6 ready to contribute, or give a special gift to the Nashes beforehand.
At 4pm on September 13th, we are hosting a baptism service at Dave and Suzy Francis’ house. If you have not publicly declared your faith in Christ through baptism as a believer, we highly encourage you to do so. Please see Paul Sommerfeld or one of the elders for an information packet as soon as possible.

Support our Missionaries
The Mission team wants volunteers to support our missionaries, especially the Nashes and Luces. Please consider joining a Prayer Support Team or a Barnabas Team. See the Bulletin for more information. Please consider joining a Prayer Support Team – your responsibility will be to pray when needs arise. Because of the sensitive nature of some of the countries our missionaries operate in, we want to limit the broadcast of their involvement there, but we want to hold them up when occasions arise. All contact is expected to be by email. Or please consider joining a Barnabas Team to encourage all of our missionaries in the field. This involves recognizing birthdays, anniversaries, etc with notes or a small gift. The team would meet to delegate responsibilities for our various missionary team families. Commitment could be by individuals, families, or groups like HBSF’s. Sign-up sheets will be available in the Narthex for the next few weeks.
